About the Lodge

The history of the Inspiration Lodge

The lodge has always been a workshop. With an insanely beautiful view. In 2020-2021, we had to rebuild it. The building substance was too bad to renovate (iron H beams had rusted away).

However, in agreement with the municipality of Plombieres, we were able to keep the workshop, its dimensions and charm. Which is even better expressed by the finishing with local Larynx wood. But also the Oak Beams in the Lodge were cut from the trees of the property.

Inside, the Lodge has remained authentically workshop. A rough finish with old elements such as oak doors, horse harnesses and signs of handicraft. Of course, however, there is Wifi and the availability of a digital big screen and a whiteboard.

But there is also a basic kitchen and a gender-neutral toilet with WC, Urinal and sink.

In the workspace, there is also a cast-iron stove with a capacity of 11 KW. Wood is available for cosy and durable warmth.

If necessary, a consulting room is available upstairs. Outside, there is 1500 metres of garden with 3 terraces, including 1 with fire pit and BBQ. Wood for this is always available weather permitting.

There is room for 8 people inside, up to 15 outside. Teams of up to 10 can be accommodated in all seasons.
